This is not a typical family-memory transfer order. Private Video Transfer was created for customers who need to digitize adult tapes, homemade camcorder tapes, private sex tapes, discreet videos, or sensitive printed photos without sending them through a mainstream customer experience.
The process is intentionally simple: review the formats, pack the box, ship with tracking, receive confirmation, pay the invoice, and get your finished files back through cloud delivery, USB, and DVD copies.

The full process, step by step
This is the complete order flow from the moment you decide to send your tapes or photos to the moment your originals and finished copies are returned.
Review accepted formats
Confirm that your order includes only accepted videotapes or loose printed photos. We accept VHS, VHS-C, miniDV, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, and other standard 8mm camcorder formats.
Pack your tapes and photos securely
Use a sturdy box with padding so your media does not move around during transit. Keep printed photos together in an envelope, bag, sleeve, or small inner box.
Include your contact information inside the box
Include your name, phone number, email address, return shipping address, and a simple note describing what you are sending. You do not need to include explicit descriptions of the contents.
Ship with tracking
Ship your box to Private Video Transfer using UPS, FedEx, USPS, or another trackable method. UPS or FedEx is preferred, but any reliable shipping method with tracking is accepted.
Receive a confirmation email
After your package arrives, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours acknowledging that your shipment was received.
Review and pay your invoice
We send an invoice before processing begins. Payment is required before we begin transferring your tapes or scanning your photos.
We digitize your accepted media
Accepted tapes and photos enter the Private Video Transfer workflow. Videotapes are converted to digital files, and loose printed photos are scanned.
You receive cloud, USB, DVDs, and returned originals
Finished orders include a USB flash drive, 30-day cloud delivery, one DVD per transferred videotape, and return of your original tapes and photos by UPS Ground.

Every qualifying order includes multiple delivery methods so you have easy access and physical backup copies.
30-day cloud delivery
Your finished digital files are delivered through a temporary cloud link so you can download them directly.
USB flash drive
Your transferred video files and scanned photos are also delivered on a USB flash drive.
One DVD per tape
Each transferred videotape is returned with its own DVD copy at no additional charge.

Use this address for Private Video Transfer orders only. The address will be updated when the permanent shipping address is finalized.

Completed orders are returned by UPS Ground. Your invoice will include a $15 return shipping charge.

Please do not write explicit descriptions on the outside of your package. A normal shipping label with the Private Video Transfer address is enough. Any order notes should go inside the box with your contact information.
