How to ship your private tapes and photos.
Sending personal or adult media to an unknown company can feel uncomfortable. Private Video Transfer was created specifically to make that process clear, controlled, and discreet from the moment you pack your box to the moment your finished files are returned.

Shipping is simple
You do not need special packaging. The main goal is to protect your tapes and photos, include clear contact information, and use a shipping method that lets you confirm delivery.
Gather your tapes and photos
Send only the formats accepted by Private Video Transfer: VHS, VHS-C, miniDV, standard 8mm camcorder tapes, and loose printed photos.
Include your contact information
Place a note inside the box with your name, email address, phone number, return shipping address, and any simple instructions we should know.
Pack everything securely
Use a sturdy box. Add padding around tapes and photos so the contents do not move around. For photos, use a plastic bag, envelope, or small inner box to keep them grouped together.
Ship with tracking
We recommend UPS, FedEx, or USPS with tracking. Once your package shows delivered, keep your tracking information until your order has been checked in.
Built for sensitive material
Private Video Transfer has been a part of the digitization industry since 2015, but is designed specifically for discreet personal content. The reason this brand exists is simple: customers with adult or highly private media deserve a clear, separate, and confidence-building process.
How to pack your order
A little care during packing makes the transfer process smoother and helps protect your original media.
Protect the tapes
Place tapes in a sturdy box with bubble wrap, paper, or other padding. If tapes are loose, try to prevent them from knocking against each other during shipping.
Group the photos
Keep printed photos together in a bag, envelope, sleeve, or smaller inner box. Please do not send slides, negatives, scrapbooks, or albums to this service.
Add a simple note
Include your contact information and return address inside the box. You can also include basic instructions, such as whether your order includes both tapes and photos.
