Some VHS recordings are hard to replace. Even when the content is difficult to find online, the physical cassette may be the only copy you personally own.
Collections and compilation tapes
Older adult videotape collections can contain compilations, independent material, personal recordings, or lesser-known productions. If you have eligible media that matters to you, converting the recording to digital can make it easier to access without relying on an aging VCR.
We don't need explicit descriptions of the content. The format, approximate number of tapes, and any practical transfer instructions are usually more useful.
Important: A compilation tape is not automatically copyright-free. A tape's age, obscurity, or absence from the internet does not determine its copyright status.

Which adult videotapes can you send?
This service page is centered on adult VHS collections, but we also support several common camcorder cassette formats.
Full-size VHS
The familiar home-video cassette used for many older adult films, compilations, and recorded collections. If you cannot play it anymore, transfer may still be possible.
VHS-C and 8mm-family tapes
Some adult recordings were made using VHS-C, Video8, Hi8, or Digital8 camcorders. These formats require equipment different from a VHS deck.
miniDV
Digital camcorder cassettes can also contain private or adult recordings. We accept miniDV among our supported formats.

What about copyrights on older adult VHS tapes?
We want to be clear about an issue that matters to collectors and to our business.
Old does not mean public domain
Many professionally produced adult films and compilations from the 1980s and 1990s may still be protected by copyright. The absence of a title from streaming platforms, or uncertainty about who produced it, does not automatically give anyone permission to copy it.
We consider transfers of eligible media for which the customer has the necessary rights or authorization. We may decline recordings where eligibility is unclear or applicable restrictions prevent us from proceeding.
Have a tape you're unsure about?
Tell us the cassette format and, if known, whether it's a personal recording, compilation, or commercially produced title. Please don't send sensitive descriptions or copies of the footage just to ask a preliminary question.
We can explain our acceptance policy before you ship. Eligibility is determined case by case; we cannot establish that a work is copyright-free merely from its age or rarity.

Can an old porn VHS tape be converted to digital?
Some older adult VHS tapes can be transferred when the recording is eligible under applicable rights and our acceptance policies. Age alone does not establish eligibility. For an unfamiliar title or compilation, contact us before shipping.
Do you accept vintage adult compilation tapes?
Potentially, depending on the recording and your rights or authorization. A compilation may contain material protected by copyright even when the tape is obscure or no longer sold. We review acceptance case by case.
Will I receive an MP4 or other digital video file?
We deliver digital video files for completed transfers, with a USB drive and 30-day cloud download. If you need a particular file format, ask before sending your tapes.
Can you make DVDs too?

What if I have only one tape?
One-tape orders are welcome, subject to the $99 minimum. Two adult tapes also total $99; three cost $105 at standard rates. See pricing for examples.
Do I need to describe what's on each tape?
No detailed descriptions of intimate material are usually necessary. Provide the formats, approximate quantities, and any practical directions needed to identify or group the tapes.
How should I ship the originals?
Pack the tapes securely in a plain box and use a trackable shipping method. Include a printed confirmation or a note with your name and email address. See shipping instructions.
