Which tapes can be transferred?
Our DVD-focused service is not limited to full-size VHS. Please confirm your cassette type before sending it.
VHS and VHS-C
Full-size VHS and compact VHS-C camcorder cassettes are among our accepted tape formats. These formats are different sizes and use different playback equipment.
Video8, Hi8 and Digital8
We can handle accepted 8mm-family camcorder videotapes containing eligible adult or private recordings. These are not the same as 8mm movie film.
miniDV
Small digital camcorder tapes can also be transferred through our private-media service, with DVD and digital delivery included for accepted recordings.

Older adult movies, compilation tapes and copyright
The date on a cassette does not determine whether it can legally be duplicated.
Age and rarity are not permission
Some adult movies and compilation videotapes from the 1980s or 1990s remain protected by copyright, even if they are no longer sold or available online. A compilation may also contain individual copyrighted works.
We consider eligible transfers when the customer has the appropriate rights or authorization. We may decline recordings whose eligibility is uncertain or that fall outside our policies.

Tell us the cassette format and, if you know it, whether the recording is homemade, a compilation, or a commercially produced title. You do not need to send explicit descriptions or the footage itself to ask.

Will you return my original VHS tapes?
Yes. Original media are returned with completed orders using standard UPS Ground shipping, included in the order price. You pay to ship your package to us initially.
